Kilometres travelled so far -  1,028km.

Murray River - Mildura

The paddlesteamer only needs 1 metre of water to move in.

We had to go through a loch that opens and closes the gates to let the paddle steamers through.

Perry Sand Dunes

There is a very big tree in the middle called the God tree.

Rolling hills to climb and slide down.
We tried to slide down the hills on some cardboard but it didn't work so we rolled down.

Orange World

There are 500 types of oranges. There is an orange the size of a melon. You only need 4 people to pick 10,000 orange and mandarine trees.

Inside Orange World where they sort them.

When we went to Orange World and we had a drink of orange squuezed fresh from the orange and a mandarine to eat.

Mt Remarkable - Melrose South Australia

We walked to the summit that took 5 hours and was over 12 kilometres.

Kangaroo jumping across the path.

We did a big hike but there was no view at the top just a big pile of rocks. We were so dissapointed!

  1. Great effort! You must have been tired after that big climb! I didn't know there were so many different types of oranges. Wow!

  4. Loving the updates Molly and Toby. I lived in Mildura for a few years in the late 1990s and used to love sliding down Perry Sand Hills. Make sure Dad takes you fishing in the Murray. Lots of carp to catch if you can't get onto the local fish. Be sure to push him into the river too, that will be hilarious. - Bill Jenkins

  7. Hi Toby and Molly,
We've enjoyed hearing about your travels and the kids are all very jealous. Toby, Tait and Ethan said to tell you that they're having jam donuts!
We're wondering where you are now. Keep up the posts.
