Book Review - The Wife and the Widow By Christian White

The Wife and the Widow

By Christian White

My Review:

Wow! This story was so well thought out and planned that the two story lines seamlessly tell the story from the two different viewpoints. In fact at times I was tempted to skip the next chapter just to keep reading the widows POV or the wife's POV. White managed to have the story unfold with just enough detail to keep the 2 POV so succinct yet different that the reader just had to turn the page to learn more. Then, just when I thought I knew what was going to happen ... the most exciting and creative approach to a story happened and it blew my mind! Loved this book.

Highly recommend this if you love mystery, deception and intrigue.

From AFFIRM PRESS

Set against the backdrop of an eerie island town in the dead of winter, The Wife and the Widow is a mystery/thriller told from two perspectives: Kate, a widow whose grief is compounded by what she learns about her dead husband’s secret life; and Abby, an island local whose world is turned upside down when she’s forced to confront the evidence that her husband is a murderer. But nothing on this island is quite as it seems, and only when these women come together can they discover the whole story about the men in their lives.
