Best mum in the world by Toby Wray

This year my 9 year old son had to write a persuasive piece of writing at school. The argument? Why my mum is the best mum in the world. Here is his unedited persuasive writing. Love him to bits!

 

BEST MUM IN THE WORLD

My mum is the best because she is an author and the awesome book she wrote is Destiny Road. She is also really fit and healthy she also works a lot but she always has time to play with me.

Firstly, my mum believes in me, for example when I thought I couldn’t ride my bike without training wheels, mum gave me persistence and bravery and mum always had an idea for everything so she said why don’t you take one training wheel off and keep one on? After I got the hang of it mum took the other training wheel off after I got the hang of it I rode my bike without training wheels and I really appreciate her teaching me that.

Secondly, my mum keeps me fit and healthy by giving me fruit like apples, grapes and strawberries. She also forces me to eat my veggies and if I am lucky I have take away sometimes for a treat. She also lets me do my favourite sports like tennis, golf and footy. She also doesn’t let me watch TV for too long.

Last but not least my mum cooks the best food in the worlds for example she cooks pasta, stew, roast and homemade pizza which are the best she also lets us have take away sometimes.

If you are not convinced yet you are crazy, you should have one more think. She believes in me, she also keeps me healthy and she is an unbelievable cook in the world. So that’s why my mum is the best mum in the world!
